Hikes and forest trails

Guided walks up into the hills of Mahé, through cinnamon trees and old granite to views over the whole coast. We match the walk to how far you want to go, easy strolls for families, longer climbs for the restless.

Morne BlancModerate · 1.5 to 2 hoursA forest path in the Morne Seychellois National Park that opens onto a viewpoint high above the west coast and the ocean. A proper walk, without being a hard climb.
CopoliaEasy to moderate · about 1 hourA shorter trail through mist forest up to a granite plateau, with panoramic views over the island and the turquoise water below. The most view for the least effort.
Anse MajorEasy to moderate · 1.5 to 2 hoursA coastal walk from Bel Ombre along the shore to Anse Major, a quiet beach with no road to it, perfect for a swim once you arrive.

A day at Sainte Anne Marine Park

A glass-bottom boat over the marine park, two snorkelling stops in warm, clear water, and the giant tortoises of Moyenne Island. Small groups, a trusted local guide, lunch and park fees included. One of the loveliest days you can have here.

Surfing and kayak

Mahé picks up a swell in the southeast season, roughly May to September, and the mangroves are made for a slow paddle. We will tell you honestly when the conditions are right.

A traditional fishing day

A day at sea fishing the way the islands always have, with local guides who grew up doing it. Best for a group, and a proper adventure.

Anse a la Mouche is calm and shallow, a minute from your door, and Anse Soleil is a short drive. Bicycles are here if you want them. Some days that is the whole plan.

No visa is needed to visit Seychelles, but every visitor must get a Travel Authorisation before arrival.
